Responsibilities and Duties
・Provide solutions over the phone and/or video call on a wide range of maintenance tasks including electrics, gas, and plumbing.
・Ability to provide video-call guidance to the property occupier within the timeframe of 1 hour to either fix the issue or make the place safe until the engineer arrives on site.
・Diagnose the severity of the maintenance issue and report back to the office.
・Advice on preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of systems and equipment.
・Respond to emergency maintenance and repair requests from clients in a timely manner and polite.
・Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work completed, including documenting any issues or problems that arise.
・Communicate fixes with clients and colleagues to ensure that all work is completed to their satisfaction.
Requirements
・Minimum 10 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in construction, property maintenance, property management or a related industry.
・Technical skills in electrical, plumbing, gas and carpentry work.
・Experience in using smart devices to complete day to day maintenance tasks.
・GAS SAFE registered (Desired)
・NVQ level 3 certification in plumbing (Desired)
・NICEIC or NAPIT certification in electrics (Desired)

・Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance problems in a time-effective manner.
・Ability to calmly react in an emergency situation and to also manage the client’s expectations.
・Ability to use technology such as Google Meet to communicate with tenants, landlords and property managers.
・Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
・Ability to work well under pressure by remaining calm throughout the repairing process.
・Ability to respond quickly to enquiries from tenants, property manager, landlords and colleagues.
・Actively listening to clients concerns and provide support accordingly.
・Having a proactive approach to problem-solving.
・Contact clients professionally and provide exceptional customer service by showing empathy and patience.

Salary:
・£30 plus VAT for each call between 9 am to 5 pm
・Monday to Friday Out-of-hours, weekends, bank, and public holidays, we offer an increased rate of £50 plus VAT for each call.
