Main Purpose of the Job
Are you a skilled and experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Tradesperson looking for your next career opportunity? Look no further! We are seeking for talented maintenance engineers to join our dynamic and forward-thinking property management company in London and perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across our portfolio of properties. From electrical and plumbing work to tiling, decorating and carpentry, this role is perfect for someone with background experience in property management, property maintenance or the construction industry. We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 – £45,000 per annum and mobile location, so you can focus on what you do best: maintaining and repairing properties to ensure our clients’ satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties
・Perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical, plumbing, tiling, joinery, decorating, flooring, and carpentry work.
・Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with various systems and equipment.
・Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of systems and equipment.
・Respond to emergency maintenance and repair requests in a timely manner.
・Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work completed, including documenting any issues or problems that arise using our in-house maintenance management system.
・Communicate with clients and supervisors to ensure that all work is completed to their satisfaction.
Requirements
・A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer/Tradesperson/Handyman or a related field.
・Skilled in electrical, plumbing, tiling, joinery, decorating, flooring, and carpentry work.
・Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
・Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
・Valid driver’s license.
・Access to a vehicle (Desired).
・GAS SAFE registered (Desired).
・NVQ level 3 certification in plumbing (Desired).
・NICEIC or NAPIT certification in electrics (Desired).

・Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance problems in a time-effective manner.
・Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
・Ability to work well under pressure by remaining calm throughout the repairing process.
・Ability to respond quickly to enquiries from tenants, property managers, landlords and colleagues.
・Actively listening to clients’ concerns and providing support accordingly.
・Having a proactive approach to problem-solving.
・Contact clients professionally and provide exceptional customer service by showing empathy and patience.
・Forward-thinking when attending properties to complete allocated jobs.
